  The hotel was very basic, not a refurbished one. They're still using actual keys. The shower was terrible, I complained and they offered to change our rooms but we tested the shower there and it was just as bad. I wouldn't stay there again unless it got refurbished. The staff however were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Though I was clear that we weren't enjoying our stay ( due to the shower) aside from a refund not sure what else they could have done

  Slightly dated feel to the hotel itself. Bathroom felt quite dated but it, and the room itself, were clean and tidy. Staff were all helpful and friendly throughout. Breakfast in adjacent Brewers Fayre pub was really good value. No hot buffet, but the hot food table service was fast and efficient. Overall, really good value, despite not being one of the better Premier Inns.
